5 Boudoir Photo Ideas for Your Next Boudoir Photoshoot | New England Boudoir

Boudoir photos come in so many different styles from timeless and classic looks, coy and flirtatious to a super sexy and dramatic look.

Think of your boudoir style as an extension of you.

It can be -

an outlet for expression,

helping you gain confidence,

surprising your significant other,

or maybe even to get you outside of your comfort zone (where growth happens!)

Whatever your boudoir photo shoot means to you, your personality should show through! The best boudoir photographers will be able to guide you as far as what to wear, how to style, and have plenty of posing ideas, props, and boudoir sets available for your boudoir session.

That said — this post by all means was not created because you need to come in to your Scottsdale boudoir session with ideas of your own. We’ve got you! But it can certainly serve as a way to inspire you, show you what’s possible, and get you excited to embark on your very own boudoir experience with us.

This is a great place to start envisioning what your dream boudoir shoot might look like leading up to your styling and wardrobe consultation.

Here Are 5 Boudoir Photo Ideas And Sets You May Want To Incorporate Into Your Next Boudoir Session With Us.

CURTAINS

We love this look for those who want to do something elegant, natural and classic - think out of a perfume ad commercial (lol). This is a client favorite for bridal boudoir but our daring and bold clients love to incorporate this look into their photo session as well. There are just so many things we’re capable of capturing using a window with curtains! #dreamy

WHITE SHEETS

For timeless, tastefully topless, or implied nude style images you may want to consider classic white sheets. We call the white sheets the outfit that requires no outfit but makes a powerful statement! This is one of our studios favorite bonus outfits that can be be added on to the end of your boudoir session.

LIGHT & SHADOWS

As a professional boudoir photographer, our job consists of “painting” with light and shadows. The shadow looks create a gorgeous bold and daring when photographed with the right emotions and storytelling with hands (don’t worry, we help you with all of that!)

BENCH

This bench is another studio favorite especially for more moody boudoir style. This set is popular for those who want to create stunning artwork of themselves to celebrate and showcase as wall art for their homes — you can frame them in color, black and white, or noir (looks like film), or make them into a beautifully framed wall art for an art gallery-like finish.

MIRROR

This one really speaks for itself. You can primp and laugh into your reflection for a flirty feel or let out your inner bombshell with a more daring pose! Applying lipstick, adjusting your hair are just few ways to utilize a mirror which is one of our personal favorites!

At Cindy Mari Boudoir we know that every woman is unique and your boudoir photos should be too! By personalizing your session we can create images that truly empower you to love who you are and feel more confident in your own skin! We like to get know you, encourage you to just be yourself, and get a feel of the kinds of images and styles you love before you come in for your shoot! After reading this, if you are still unsure if any of these ideas would work well for you, that’s ok too!
